Repair method

Traditional methods generally use surfacing and machining to repair, and surfacing will make the surface of the parts reach a high temperature, causing deformation or cracks of the parts, and the downtime will be greatly extended by obtaining the size through machining. The use of polymer composite materials for on-site repair has neither thermal effect nor limited repair thickness. The wear resistance of the product and the concession of metal materials ensure 100% contact and coordination of the repaired parts, reduce the impact vibration of the equipment, and avoid the possibility of wear. Repair on site and avoid machining.

Repair process

Generally, there are only four steps:

1. Surface treatment: the bearing seat surface will need to be repaired to remove oil and moisture;

2. Blending and repairing materials;

3. Apply the material evenly on the repaired part of the bearing seat and fill it firmly;

4. Wait for the material to cure, and heat the surface of the material appropriately to accelerate the curing of the material.

General bearing housing wear can be repaired in 3-6 hours. The operation is simple and easy to learn, without special equipment and special training. Compared with laser welding, cold welding and other technologies, it saves time and labor, and the cost is only 1/5-1/10 of the general repair cost. On site repair reduces the equipment maintenance time and transportation cost.
